I started with user research to understand the user's needs and pain points by analyzing user demographics and conducting user interviews. Then I made an information architecture and created a flowchart to define the structure and hierarchy of content.
There is a camera on the fridge which can detect the food and user add the food to inventory. HomeWhiz app makes suggestions for product placement inside the fridge to lengthen the lifetime of the products. The products inside the fridge are listed according to their expiration dates and users are encouraged to consume the products that are about to expire.

Products whose expiry date is approaching are warned the user with a notification to prevent spoiling. And also gives recipe recommendations according to what is in the fridge.
